Information and Knowledge Management
In information management services, IRANDOC is the main national and governmental center for accumulating, organizing, processing and disseminating scientific and technologic documents. Furthermore, IRANDOC has the key roles in national and ministerial organizations including: • National Technical Committee for National Current Research Information System; • Steering Committee of Science and Technology Information System in Islamic Republic of Iran; • Steering Council of Information Technology in Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. IRANDOC represents Iran in APIN (A UNESCO-Supported Asia Pacific information Network) and is also an institutional member of international bodies including IFLA (International Federation of Library Association and institutions), Termnet (International Network for Terminology) and euroCRIS (European organization on Current Research Information Systems).
