In-house Database
IRANDOC tries to accumulate and organize Iranian scientific information. This information is available via Internet through IRANDOC Website, SDI, CD-ROM and published data. These databases are 615000 records: • Database of Iranian graduate theses and Ph.D. dissertations, 126820 Records (as of June 2009); • Database of Research projects in Iran, 90076 Records; • Database of scientific and technical papers, 139286 Records; • Database of theses and dissertations of the Iranians graduated abroad, 15842 Records; • Index to Latin periodicals available in Iranian libraries, 17728 Records; • Database of the articles presented in seminars held in Iran, 105947 Records; • Information concerning Iranian scholars and experts, 19373 Records; • Governmental reports, 27840 Records; • Khazar information, 6796 Records; • Bibliography information on Medical sciences, 4549 Records; Electronic Thesis and Dissertation (ETD) has been fully implemented in IRANDOC as a national level. The process of online submission starts from proposals definition. Students start the process by entering and registering their theses or dissertations proposals.
