Abstract:

Weblogs or Blogs have become increasingly popular since 2000 and have taken root in the width and breadth of the world wide web. Their subject matter varies from a personal diary to internet-based journalism. November 2001 marks the date of the first Iranian weblog appearing on the web. Iran ranks fourth in number of weblogs globally. While weblogs have been reviewed from the standpoint of sociological, political and even artistic impact, but few have studied their scientific and research applications. The present paper offers some examples.
